Description

A fabulous little trinket box made from a period piece of Tortoise Shell with a bright shiny patina showcasing the fabulous markings and tapestry of colours ranging from golden Champagne to deep chocolate brown.

The fittings including the hinge are made from English hallmarked silver, struck for London 1919, nearly 100 years old.

The top has a wonderful Amethyst coloured cut stone inset to the silver mount.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 3/4" x 2 3/4" x 1 5/8" to top of stone.
