Description

Trade only. London green lacquered Chinoiserie decorated long case by John Meredith. The clock outer case has been cleaned and waxed and is in good condition. The turned feet are not original and the movement is very dusty and would need a full overhaul. There are 2 lead weights and pendulum which has lost its top. The glass in the pagoda top and door are original as are the 3 carved wood finials. This clock has been stored in dusty conditions for many years hence the state of the movement and why the case has been lightly cleaned. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £65. Size- Height..106.5''/270.5cm. Max.width at base..20.25''/ 51.5cm. Depth...9.5''/ 24cm.
