Welsh Masonic Painted Pine Lodge Chest C.1880.

Description

Late 19th.c. painted pine chest of Masonic origin c.1880. With a lift up lid and a single drawer in the base. Original untouched paintwork, named for Offa Lodge (in Wrexham here in North Wales) together with the lodge number No.6660. Original iron carry handles and turned knobs to the drawer front. Missing the moulding from the left hand side of the lid, with four small holes to the front where a modern clasp was removed and raised on later castors. Otherwise excellent condition with original lining paper.

Dimensions: width 43", depth 20", height 26".
