Jeff Sims Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
These all featured cast crowns as handles or terminals. He then adapted these designs for the Coronations of Edward VIII in 1936 and George VI in 1937. Asprey & Co. retailed many of these.

This extremely rare example is a twin handled dish with a stunning emerald green glass liner. A superb and rare collector's item.
