A Five Plank 17th Century Oak Sword Chest

Description

A five plank 17th Century oak antique sword chest. The hinged rectangular top retaining two of the original split pin hinges and opening to reveal a storage interior with a candle box, constructed simply with handmade iron nails and of wonderful colour and patination. English circa 1680

Dimensions: 51" wide x 15" deep x 21" high

Condition: This chest is in excellent condition, a wonderful colour and patination. There is an old repair to one end and the original lock plate is missing.
