A French brass cased striking carriage clock. An enamel dial with blued steel hands and signed by retailers 'Mappin & Webb, London'. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. A lever escapement. Complete with the original travelling box. Circa 1900.
