Pair Brass Girandole C.1890.

Description

Splendid pair of late 19th.c. brass girandole wall sconces c.1890. Two candle holders to each on movable arms on circular brass frames with bevelled mirrors at the centre (to reflect candle light) surrounded with silvered panels with floral decoration. Tarnish to the mirrors typical of age. Inscribed on the reverse as having been restored in September 1937. Excellent condition.

Dimensions: width 9", depth 6", height 9".
