Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The hallmarks are struck into the silver below the enamel and can be seen through the enamel, this one struck for Birmingham 1930.

The terminal is highly decorative, almost in the form of a crown, very regal looking. The lens is of course new, with a nickel frame which is unmarked but probably by Hilkinson, the lens has a good magnification and without damage.
Excellent condition.
