Georgian Derby Figure Dresden Shepherdess C.1820 Early 19thc Bloor Period

Description

Delightful Derby figure of the "Dresden Shepherdess" painted in rich enamels. This design has been produced in several slightly varying forms and this one I believe is from the Robert Bloor period c.1820 (this exact model recorded in plate 334 of Derby Porcelain by John Twitchett). Red crossed swords mark and additionally marked "FRANCE".

She measures 8" high and 4" wide. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration.
