Bentwood Hat Stand C.1890.

19th century
Description

Exceptional late 19th.c. turned and bentwood hat stand, c.1890. Large revolving crown of eight double hooks on a beautifully turned column (an unusual feature). On a wide four leg base with a hoop for sticks and umbrellas, plus three additional coat pegs to the column. Minor wear to the base, otherwise excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 29", depth 29", height 77".
