The vases painted with scenes of ladies and gentlemen socializing in tea house, dignitaries being received, and people of importance being waited on. The panels alternate with further panels of birds and butterflies amongst flowers and foliage. The panels bordered by leaf and scroll borders, cornered by butterflies. The necks decorated in raised relief with gilt kylin and shishi.
