The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch measures 26.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 26.5mm high excluding the lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks on the back of the watch for Edinburgh (import mark) 1927 with an importer’s mark of SP which was a mark used by Robert Pringle & Sons. The case is in good condition for such an early piece with just light surface marks.

The watch has a slightly convex lens which is in good order.
The dial has plenty of Art Deco charm with stylised numbers, a rectangular minute track and a square subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel hands.
A new lizard leather strap has been fitted.
