Marble Top Gueridon Table C.1850.

19th century
Description

Handsome little mid 19th.c. French wine table or gueridon c.1850. Original and well figured inch thick marble top with a raised lip (to stop spilt drinks dripping onto the base) and mahogany veneered apron. On a tapering centre pedestal with turned base on a shaped tricorn plinth raised on claw feet. Excellent condition with particularly good colour and patina to the base.
