The central rectangular door having an oval bevelled mirror and enclosing a further brass hanging rail and hooks. The base with a further two large mahogany lined storage drawers, each drawer retaining their original Sheraton Style cast brass oval backplate handles. The whole raised on a solid mahogany plinth base. Each lock is stamped S & P, B (Shapland & Petter, Barnstaple), the premier cabinet makers of this period. This wardrobe is made from the finest quality choice mahogany throughout. This wardrobe breaks down into four sections for easy transportation. The matching bedside cabinet having an inlaid panelled door which opens to reveal a single shelf and supported on square tapering supports. English circa 1900-1910
Condition: This wardrobe and bedside cupboard are in stunning original condition, lightly cleaned and waxed. The interior lining has been replaced in our workshops
