The chest has two short drawers at the top and three graduated long drawers beneath, the drawers have beautifully figures fronts, these are set off with pierced brass escutcheons and matching swan neck handles, there is a very attractive reeded chamfered shape at the corners of the chest
The drawers run very smoothly and it stands on bracket feet
This is a very good looking piece, the chest of good solid construction it has no creaks, splits or woodworm, it is in good condition with few age related marks
The chest measures 39” high 42” wide and 21” deep
