Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The chairs are Oak framed with turned legs and arms and a strong carved X stretcher, they have been recently upholstered in a neutral Duresta beige fabric with brass studs.
The chairs are is in very good condition, no wobbles, worm or wear in the upholstery, there are very minor dings in the wood to be expected from every day use
The carver chair backs are 45” high, the front is 25” wide, 19” seat height, the single chairs are 45” at the back, 21” wide at the front and the seat height is 19”
