Description

This is a lovely large early Worcester mask jug with cabbage leaf moulding and ornate scrolled handle. Decorated in the Natural Sprays pattern on either side and with a floral spray on the front and frieze both from the Pine Cone group dating from c.1770. Blue crescent mark to the base and a provenance sticker for William Hollingsworth.

It measures 23.5cm (9 1/4") high, 15cm (6") wide and 20.5cm (8") spout to handle. Condition is very good: just a small chip to the very tip of the spout.
