The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
A winding key is included. Originally the movement probably would have had an inner cover but this has gone missing over the years.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Chester 1905 together with the JGG maker’s mark for J G Graves. The case is in good condition with just a two or three gentle indentations to the back.

The watch glass is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed The “Express” English Lever, J G Graves, Sheffield … it is in beautiful condition.
The watch comes on a 1920s silver watch chain which weighs 36g and measures 32cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
