Description

A fabulous set of six regency mahogany dining chairs. These are much better quality than your average set being made of Cuban mahogany which gives them a substantial weight. They are very elegant in design with a shaped back and concave lower saddle which moulds beautifully to the sitter all raised on sabre legs. All the seats have been traditionally re- upholstered and re-webbed in a good quality fabric. All the joints are very tight with no movement. The colour and patina are great. In excellent condition. Circa 1810. Measure 19"w x 17"d(carver21"w x19"d) x 34"h ( seat height 18").
