Antique English Silver Fob Watch, William Ehrhardt

Description

Antique silver fob watch.

The watch has a good quality key-winding movement which is working nicely and keeping good time to within around two minutes over 24 hours. A winding key is included.

The watch measures 38mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1891 with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham and Hatton Garden based watch maker William Ehrhardt. The case is beautifully detailed with exquisite patterning to the back of the watch, and it is in super condition.

The plastic lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is in lovely condition and has blued steel hands, and an outer minute track.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
