Pair of Antique Swedish Biedermeier Satinbirch Stools

Description

Rare pair of antique Swedish Biedermeier Empire stools in satin birch, with sabre legs & side handles. They are in good condition & I would date them roughly to around the 1860-80's period, but they may be older. We have just had them polished & re-upholstered. There are a couple of old repairs showing under the upholstery, where someone has strengthened the legs & we have just left them showing, because you can only see them if you turn them over. This pair of stools would look great at the end of a double bed.

Depth - 14", 36 cm

Height - 21.3", 54 cm

Seat Height - 18", 46 cm
