Vintage 1960 Omega Seamaster Gents Automatic Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A very handsome gents Omega Seamaster wrist watch.

The watch has a calibre 591 automatic movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one minute over 24 hours. The movement is signed Omega Watch Co, Swiss, 21 Jewels and it has the serial number 17,427,181 which dates it back to 1960.

The watch itself measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel. The condition is very good with just light marks. The back of the watch has the raised Seamaster logo and the inside has the Omega triangular logo. The winding crown has the Omega logo.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial has the applied Omega logo and is also signed Omega Automatic, Seamaster. It has been professionally re-finished to a very high standard and looks fantastic.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
