Stunning pair of late 19th century French gilded bronze candle holders in a Turkish style. Ornately cast with scrolls and pierced sections, all lavishly decorated with superb champleve enamel in turquoise, black,green, red, pink, purple and lemon yellow. Top quality, very striking unusual pieces.

They measures 20cm high, 20cm across and 9cm wide at the base. They weigh 1.4kg. Condition is very good. The top section of one is very slightly out of line with the main arms. A couple of very small sections of the black enamel in this top section are missing. Otherwise the enamel is in very good condition. Some light surface marks and patina.
