Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1900s.

The front is where the full English hallmark can be found for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the year 1909, Edwardian in era. The makers mark is also present for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.

The lid fits well and when opened reveals a fitted interior lined in a deep purple velvet.
Excellent condition, measuring 2 1/8" x 1 1/8" x 1 1/2" tall.
