A 1920s Swiss Gold Plated Pocket Watch

Description

A 1920s Swiss gold plated pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement with 15 jewels, 3 adjustments, which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one to two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and there is the odd mark and a little rubbing to the back but overall the condition is very acceptable for a 1920s piece.

The watch glass has minor marks.

The white enamel dial is in lovely condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
