The inner section with particularly good book matched burr walnut veneers creating a spectacular star effect. The centre with further marquetry inlay of flowers, bands and foliage, all in various stained woods including satinwood, boxwood, mahogany and tulip wood.The base with a good turned and fluted column which is supported by 3 cabriole legs all having carved flowers to the knees and scroll toes with brass castors.
This fine table is in pristine condition and has been re-polished in our own workshops using traditional French polishing methods.
