An Antique Omega Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name together with the serial number 6352234 which dates it back to the mid 1920s. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover … it has some scratching where it has been opened in the past.

The watch itself measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The nickel case is in good condition for its age with just a couple of indentations to the back and some general surface marks. The back of the watch has engraved initials. The inside of the case back has the early Omega stamp.

The watch glass has very light marks and is very acceptable.

The white enamel is signed with the Omega name and logo. If you look closely, there are a couple of short hairline cracks through number 11, and some damage towards the edge of the bottom of the dial.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
