Regency Mahogany Sofa C.1815.

19th century
Description

Splendid Regency mahogany sofa c.1815. Flame mahogany cross banded cresting rail with crisply carved frieze of scrolling acanthus leaves at the centre. Shaped ends with solid mahogany fronts with carved and reeded detail. Sprung seat raised on large carved claw feet to the front, with turned feet at rear retaining the original castors. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops with clean covers.

Dimensions: width 81", depth 24", height 35".
