Carved & Painted Window Seat C.1900.

Description

Stylish French window seat c.1900. Sprung upholstered seat pad with rounded ends on a carved and painted wooded base with fluted legs joined with an unusual piereced stretcher. Seat has been freshly upholstered but the base has been left untouched, solid and sturdy and retaining the original grey green paintwork with some old wear and worm holes.

Dimensions: width 40", depth 13", height 22".
