Antique Silver "Christmas" Box.

1900 - 1920
Description

Good size, silver, oval shaped lidded box, with a wonderful Christmas/winter scene to the hinged lid/cover. The sides are of elaborate scroll design, and the scene on the cover is "dashing through the snow on a one-horse open sleigh!" The scene depicts a male and female and a goose being carried by a horse-drawn sleigh; what more for Christmas? Great quality and absolutely charming.
