Victorian Oak Box Settle or Hall Seat

Description

A practical victorian light oak box settle or hall seat of considerable charm. The settle features scroll arms and fluted supports, an upholstered back and seat finished in a vinyl and panels to front, back and sides. The centre front panel has foliate carving to complement the leaf carved swan neck pediment. The hinged seat provides most useful storage. Overall a well made and substantial small settle of good colour with knocks and marks commensurate with a much loved piece of this age. Measurements are: width 97cms X depth 46cms X height 105cms.
