Antique William 1v Mahogany Double Wardrobe Compactum C1830

Antique William 1V Mahogany Double Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1830. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a flared cornice top supported on beautifully carved corbels and with two full length panelled doors with carved mouldings to the top. Internally and to one side there is all hanging space with brass rail and pot and brass hook ware above a shelf to the base with a single drawer below with original brass handles. To the other side there is further hanging space above a shelf and a flight of four mahogany sliding ( removable) tray drawers above two drawers with original brass handles. The whole stands on a deep plinth base. Separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 79" high x 59" wide x 26" deep x internal depth 21"

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
