A Superb Quality Mahogany Inlaid Edwardian Period Wellington Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

A Stunning quality mahogany inlaid Edwardian Period antique wellington chest. The solid mahogany rectangular top with chequer band inlaid detail and a thumb moulded edge, above a concave shaped frieze. The seven graduating drawers each with a beautiful figured flame mahogany front with chequer band inlaid detail, mahogany drawer linings and two cast brass swan neck handles. The drawers are locked by means of a "Wellington" style hinged pilaster. The solid mahogany sides again with chequer band inlaid detail, supported on a solid mahogany plinth. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 24" wide x 49" high x 17" deep

Condition: This wellington chest is in stunning condition, re-polished in our workshops
