Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
However the leather was showing plenty of scuff marks, so we just polished them out & gave it a good wax. Either way, the leather upholstery has been on this chair for a long time. The mahogany frame has the typical William IV incised carvings, turned legs & original brass casters. This chair is in lovely original condition throughout, with loads of character & because of the high back, it's also very comfortable.
