The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 31.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31.5mm high excluding the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside the case back. The front and sides of the case are in good condition, there is some unevenness to the back.

The watch glass has a small chip to the bevelled edge but otherwise is in good condition.
The watch has a white enamel dial. The condition looks good to the naked eye although if you look closely there are some hairline cracks and a small patch of damage towards the edge. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A later black leather strap has been fitted.
