Description

A Late 19th Century French Kingwood & Ormolu mounted Vernis Martin vitrine. The shaped top with applied ormolu mounts above a serpentine door with a glazed upper section and having a hand painted and gold lacquered Vernis Martin panel depicting a romantic courting couple within a woodland setting. The ends also of serpentine form with glazed upper sections and landscape painted panels. Supported on French cabriole supports with ormolu mounts throughout. France circa 1880-1900

Dimensions: 68" high x 27" wide x 16" deep

Condition: This vitrine is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
