Description

Utterly charming novelty silver pen wipe modelled as a boot scrape. Elegant lines with curved sides, a stepped base and hinged handles either side. Inside the bristles reach up the sides and it looks to be a perfect size to slide your ruler through as well.

Hallmarked for Sampson Mordan & Co., London 1893. It measures 1 7/8" by 2" wide and 1 1/4" high. It weighs 51.9g.

Condition is very good with no damage or dents, just a little light surface wear, mainly to the base and the bristles are in good order also.
