Georgian Bristol Blue Glass Hollands Club Decanter C.1825

A very fine George III Bristol Blue glass decanter of Club form with a faceted lozenge shaped stopper. Gilded decoration designed to resemble a spirit label hanging around the neck, octagonal in shape with chain and ribbon and the content label Hollands. The stopper has a gilded H and trim.

It measures 9 1/2" high and 3 1/4" wide.

Condition is very good with no damage to bottle or stopper. Some very fine nibbles to the edge of the side of the stopper and some light wear to the gilding on the stopper, the bottle rim and reverse of the "label tie", but still very clear to the front as you can see.
