The central mirrored door flanked by twin panelled doors veneered in the finest figured burr walnut and with amboyna, purple heart, ebony and satinwood inlaid detail. The doors opening to reveal sliding trays and drawers to the left hand side and hanging space with a bonnet box to the right, also retaining the original brass Gothic handles. Having solid walnut sides the whole supported on a shaped plinth with further "dog tooth" inlaid detail and inlaid roundels. The matching dressing table having a central adjustable dressing mirror and six mahogany lined drawers, above a rectangular burr walnut veneered top with two mahogany lined frieze drawers, all supported on turned walnut and ebony supports with brass and porcelain castors. The bedside cupboard having a lancet arched gothic shaped panelled door opening to reveal a shelved interior. Raised on a shaped plinth with "dog tooth" inlaid detail. This suite was constructed in the Victorian Aesthetic Period and is of the finest quality and reminiscent of designs by the leading aesthetic architects of this period like J.P. Seddon and Charles Lock Eastlake. English circa 1870
