Description

A stunning quality early 20th century queen anne style burr walnut dining suite. This extending dining table extends with one additional leaf to comfortably seat eight people. There is provision for a further leaf to seat ten. The table has a serpentine ended shape and the top is burr walnut and cross banded to the edges. Raised on cabriole legs in solid walnut and carved to the top. The set of six chairs are designed with a comfortable shaped curving central splat and comprise four singles and two carvers and have the more comfortable and desirable stuff over seats rather than the drop in type. In great condition. Circa 1920. Table measures 60"w ( 78" extended with one leaf- will go too 94") x 36"w x 31"h ( 26" h to underside of frieze). Chairs measure 38"h x 19"w x 18"d( seat height 18.5").
