Description

Circa late Victorian-early 20thC a pair of wood framed girandoles with beautiful etched glass with birds, butterflies and flowers.

They are an exact pair, a right and a left hand mirror with the curve of the design on each reflecting this.

They measure 48cm in length, and approximately 33cm at the widest point, and each has three, well made brass candle holders that slot into position.

The wood frames were polished in the front and at the back there are three large purpose made holes possibly to aid hanging on a wall, or maybe to secure a velvet backing as was fashionable at the time. The front of one of the frames have some age related damage - see main photo and photo 4. The price reflects this.

The mirrors are in very good condition, and so are the brass candle holders.
