A magnificent fine quality antique Victorian balloon back chair in walnut. A fine quality example with beautifull deeply rose carved cresting rail and foliate carved cross rail, stuffover seat and shaped cabriole legs with carved knees. The seats have been newly reupholstered in a cream brocade fabric. In very good condition, warm patina, very solid and newly reupholstered. A very decorative high quality chair dating from circa 1870. With label to underside which reads: “Hobson and Sons Brough Cabinet Works Huddersfield”. Price is for 1 chair (2 available).
