Description

A stunning pair of Victorian entree dishes, beautiful quality and wonderfully decorative, the two things we always look for in these pieces; and rarely find.

The top and sides of the lid are beautifully engraved and the top crowned with the decorative handles, which are removable by twisting and removing. This allows the lids to turn over and become two additional open serving dishes.

Both sides of the lid have a circular cartouche, with one side of each retaining the original owner's highly decorative monogram, very regal looking.

Each bears the mark for the well renowned silversmith, Martin Hall and Company.

A really showy pair in excellent condition. 11 3/4" x 9" x 5 1/4" to top of handle.
