A Stunning Burr Walnut & Marquetry Inlaid Victorian Period Credenza

Description

A stunning burr walnut & marquetry inlaid Victorian Period antique credenza. Having a D shaped top veneered in finely figured burr walnut with purple heart banding above an amboyna, sycamore and purple heart frieze with foliate marquetry inlaid detail. The central arched panelled door having a central marquetry panel and opens to reveal a silk lined shelved interior. Flanked by ormolu mounted free standing walnut and sycamore inlaid columns. The bowed ends each having glazed doors, opening to reveal silk lined shelved interiors. The whole supported on a shaped burr walnut veneered plinth with turned bun feet. English circa 1870

Dimensions: 64" wide x 43" high x 16" deep

Condition: This credenza is in wonderful condition
