The oblong reserves above the legs with original gilded cast-lead decorative floriate mounts . Raised on sabre-legs fitted with original well-defined cast-brass claw castors.

Taking its inspiration from Greek antiquity and popularised by the neo-classical designs of the likes of Thomas Hope ,George Smith, and drawings from Ackermans 'Repository of Arts'.
A rare survivor retaining its original calico base covering. In good original 'country house' condition.
