Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The dial is has been professionally restored so is in mint condition.
The Longines made case is in remarkable unblemished condition with no dents or scratches anywhere. It has the Longines name on the winding crown and a new glass has been fitted.
The watch case is large and measures 30mm square without the crown.
It comes complete with a new premium quality black leather strap and its original presentation box.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
