Description

A delightful mid/late 19th century lady's solid ivory NECESSAIRE or SEWING BOX in fine original condition.

The ivory box has its original engraved initials to the lid, which opens to reveal the full set of five tools and implements. All of these are either silver or silver-handled, and include: scissors; thimble; needle-case; stiletto and bodkin. Mint condition.
