Queen Anne Walnut Writing Table C.1930.

Description

Beautiful early 20th.c. Queen Anne style walnut writing table c.1930. Burr walnut veneered top retaining the original inlaid leather writing surface, over two mahogany lined drawers. Raised on slim cabriole legs front and rear with carved scallop detail at the knees and acanthus carved feet. Burr walnut sides and rear, crossbanded apron and brass handles. Maker’s label inside for the British makers Berick Furniture. Marks to the leather (which could be replaced) and the front edge of the top, otherwise excellent condition and lovely pale colour. Cleaned and polished in our workshops, key supplied.

Dimensions: width 41", depth 23", height 30".
