An Antique Record Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

A Record full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around three minutes or so over 24 hours. The movement is signed Record Watch Co and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold plated full hunter case was made by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison … it has some surface marks but overall is in good condition for its age.

The front cover opens to reveal a white dial with a slightly off-white centre, blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The dial is in lovely condition. The plastic lens is also in good condition.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
