An absolutely charming desk top rocking blotter featuring a fabulous Austrian bronze Dachshund to the top. He stands on a heavy cast naturalistic ground. The two screws to the sides are used to remove the top enabling the change of the blotting paper.

Dating to around 1890 / 1900, it remains in excellent original condition from a private collection. 4 5/8" x 2 1/4" x 2 3/4" tall.
